Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard
Born in July 2003, Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard is a 6-foot-8 and 221 lb French tennis player.
With an outstanding service quality and an explosive forehand, this gentle giant doesn't go unnoticed, especially when he won the French Open Juniors in doubles in 2021 and reached the singles semi-finals.
In 2023, he won his first Challenger Tour event in Mexico and reached the quarter-finals of the ATP 250 in Antwerp at the end of the season.
In 2024, he broke the Top 50 ATP ranking after having won 3 Challenger tournaments in Mexico, won his first ATP title in Lyon (ATP 250) in May 2024 and reached the round of 16 at Wimbledon.
He trains in Paris at the National Tennis Center under the supervision of his coach Emmanuel Planque.
